The twelve rides described in these pages range from 8 to 60 miles and all start from convenient free car parks. They are all circular tours from Swaffham and several other villages in West Norfolk, and all return to the start point by a different route.
It is a region of mainly quiet lanes and byways, with gently undulating countryside. The rides described in these pages have all been cycled by the Author, and the discovery and researching of the routes for these pages has been a source of joy since his retirement.
On the INFORMATION page you will find a brief summary of the twelve rides, and maps of car parking facilities at the various start points, together with local facilities available close by. There is also a brief description of the rides for length and terrain.
This website is free and you are welcome to download route descriptions and maps from the pages, providing it is for personal use only. Feedback from anybody cycling the routes would be both welcome and useful, especially if you find errors in the script.
